About La Tropa
What started in 2009 as a Spanish Language Book Club quickly became a theater company, under the content direction of Betsy Newman, a seasoned theater director, and documentarist. From full writing of the pieces to final production, La Tropa has been committed to social causes as well as immigration and bilingual issues.
La Tropa pride itself of its productions entirely written in English and Spanish by members of the company in full collaboration.
