Alejandro García Lemos
Originally form Bogotá, Colombia, Alejandro is a visual artist based between Columbia, SC and New Orleans, LA. He holds a MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Florida International University in Miami, and a BA in Graphic Design from the School of Arts at the National University in Bogotá, Colombia.
Alejandro is an alumni of the Leadership Institute of the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture (NALAC), where he decided to start a non-profit organization: Palmetto & LUNA ARTS which has been promoting Latino Arts and Cultures in South Carolina since 2007. Alejandro was the Executive Director for the first three years and after that he has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors.
