Betsy Newman

Betsy Newman is a documentary producer and web content developer specializing in making programs on the history and culture of South Carolina, where there is never any lack of fascinating and controversial content. As a founding member of the Board of Directors of Palmetto Luna she has been involved in many events and presentations, including the puppet show, The Pig, The Hen and La Bestia, and she has co-written and directed eight plays with Palmetto Luna’s resident theater company, La Tropa.
